RCE Ogun received designation of Honourable Mention Award for its role in contributing to SDG4: Quality Education. This award is given annually to RCEs that have made outstanding contributions to address Local Sustainable Development Challenges in their regions. This Award came in as a result of the On-going EMA Smart Kids Program.

RCE Ogun partnered with Hebron FM Dynamic Talent Program to motivate young minds, academically during the Christmas and New Year Season. The programme is on-going and it is anchored by children. It has different segments in which questions are being asked from the studio and children call in to answer questions on air.
