RCE Ogun Participates at the 3rd African Youth Virtual Conference of the UNU RCEs

 

Following the official call for the 3rd African RCE African Youth Virtual Conference (AYVC) hosted by RCE Minna, Nigeria in collaboration with RCE Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA. RCE Ogun swiftly began preparations to make her presence felt at the AYVC.
The conference was organised to further provide and enhance knowledge sharing, networking and consolidate the already existing relationship among African youths within the RCE Network. The Virtual Conference was themed “A Regional Perspective on the Roles of RCEs in Achieving SDGs 13; Climate Action and Sustainable Development on the Continent”. RCE Ogun made a Case Study Presentation with the topic on ‘Climate Change and Sustainable Development in Ogun State: Taking Timely Actions’. Over 20 Participants from RCE Ogun attended the AYVC at the Seminar Room, 5th Floor, CUCRID Building. Representing RCE Ogun at the conference include: The Chair, RCE Ogun (Prof. Evans Osabuohien), Centre Officer and Youth Coordinator, RCE Ogun (Mr Ademola Onabote), Students of Covenant University (Ms Victoria Okafor, Ms Ogundimu Motunrayo & Mr Udo Emmanuel), Students and teachers of Wisdomland and the Bells Secondary Schools.
